Chicken Invaders 3 - Revenge of the Yolk Easter Edition Game Review

Once again, Interaction Studios came out with an updated version of Chicken Invaders 3: Revenge of the Yolk for the Easter, game review, Edition. This is another funny story line that starts from the beginning of the prologue.



We human beings have been eating, grilling the chickens. Now is the time the Chickens take revenge against us. Previous episodes shows that the intergalactic chickens invaded Earth, seeking revenge, game review, . They came out of nowhere, and everywhere. Then came this hero in a spaceship and only one human managed to save the earth, and that was you!



But it is not over yet.



The chickens are trying to invade the earth once more. If you have, game review, not played Chicken Invaders before, this version of the Easter Edition is having a similar shooting game style except it has more complex shooting opponents (the chickens, gulp!) and colorful graphics of the Easter spaceships/ eggs. You need to wear your nonstick egg-repulsing helmet, save the world and fight, game review, for victory.



In Chicken Invaders 3: Revenge of the Yolk Easter Edition,, game review, you could use the keyboards or mouse as the controls.



Arrow keys to move up, down, left or right while Space is for Fire, game review, and Enter is for Missile. Basically this is the simple mechanism for shooting games. To start the game, you can select the mission difficulty from Rookie (as beginner), Veteran or Superstar Hero (for advance shooters).



The prologue is something easy to start with. Here is a big bunny that throws the occasional Easter eggs down to the spaceship. You need to shoot the bunny with all your might and avoid the eggs at the same time.



You have limited life line, game review, and if you hit any of the eggs, one life will be gone.



After shooting and exploding this bunny (accompanied by drum sounds and music for victory), you will move, game review, on to the, game review, next stage. Only then you, game review, realize one important stuffs that troubles your mind. Ha! Your stomach is growling and you are hungry! Now you need to fight, game review, against more crude chickens for food, otherwise you will be their food instead.



Along the way,you will meet with Acrobatic Chickens that seems to be able to fly fast and furious in the sky. Avoid colliding with them. Remember to collect all the fried drumsticks and chicken burgers after you have fired the chickens.



Overall Chicken Invaders 3: Revenge of the Yolk Easter Edition is quite an addicting game because I was quite occupied with all the shootings. The graphics improved from the last Chicken Invader series and suits the Easter Edition theme. The storyline seems a bit funny, game review, though, but I guess that is the whole idea of Chicken Invader that invades the earth after tolerating the suffering all this while from human beings, game review, .



While I was quite occupied with this game, I would not give this game a full 5 stars because shooting game is not something I am good at. I tend to move my mouse too fast and that leads the spaceship, game review, to collide with the eggs or chickens!
