So the sequel to Bubble Tanks lands on our desktops and number two has definitely been worth the wait. Its already received massive ratings on Armor Games and having played the game for many hours myself, it's easy to see why.
Although its much of the same concerning game play the sequel does has, game review, far more content including twenty six tank, game review, states and over thirty powerful weapons. Also where the enemy variety seemed weak in the first game the, game review, amount of adversaries here will satisfy, game review, the most demanding of fans, game review, .
For those that dont know the idea behind this 2d shooter, you control a tank, game review, like bubble that skips from one bubble dome to the next, game review, . You must destroy enemy tanks and collect their, game review, bubbles to grow in size and power.
Each bubble dome will contain a number of enemies that you obliterate, game review, and collect their artillery from to prepare yourself for the next challenge in the next bubble dome. One of the most highly talked about features of the first game was the artistic nature of the different offensive tanks you could choose to morph into.
Well Bubble Tanks 2 does not let fans down delivering more spectacular sites in, game review, the form of, game review, bubble cluster fire power!
The path you choose to go down with regards to tank advancement is one of the main features of the game. You can choose between a fast firing and nifty tank, a heavy duty serious punch packer or a hybrid. Personally I chose the big mother because I prefer to stand and fire instead of moving around and shooting too much. Less is more in my case!
The big tank does not always suit the environment though, especially in crowded bubble domes where space is limited and there are many enemies firing at once.
It can be very difficult to dodge all fire, game review, and so you can soon become unstuck if your not careful! Also when fighting specific, game review, enemies they will unleash a series of small, game review, homing missile bubbles that will need to be taken care of, since your big tank fires slowly you can often find many of these getting through and destroying, game review, your tank!
I would not say its all good when choosing the nifty, agile tank either, now the problem does not lie in your ability to dodge enemy fire but instead its the amount of time you need to take down any particular one.
Your shots are weak and therefore you will end up getting caught out for spending too long neutralising, game review, a group of enemies. You could find yourself surrounded due to your inability to dispose of enemies before they gang up.
So is the hybrid tank the solution? Possibly, on my further tank upgrades I started to choose a balance between speed and fire power and it seemed to get that little bit easy for me when venturing into more threatening domes with a hybrid tank. I would recommend choosing hybrid upgrades if your new to the game.
If the type of tank you choose doe not suit your game play you need not worry, as you will get plenty more opportunities to respec in later upgrades. So how do you upgrade your tank? Well like in the first game you need to collect a certain amount of bubbles before you can upgrade your weapons and bubbles are split by dead enemies. Likewise if you take a hit from enemy fire your tank can be downgraded. So it's best to avoid as much enemy fire as possible.
So what, game review, is it about Bubble Tanks 2 that makes it such an addictive flash game? I really could not put my finger on one particular reason.

Likewise if you take a hit from enemy fire your tank can be downgraded. So it's best to avoid as much enemy fire as possible.

I liked this game. It has hidden objects, puzzles and adventure. I was a little disappointed that it didn't last long enough. Before I knew it, I was at the end looking at the credits. I also wasn't sure about not being able to receive a hint when some of the puzzles came up. There was a couple of times when I looked at the puzzle for about 15 minutes and wondered, "What do I do here?"
