All of us at one moment have sat down and tried to balance impossible objects on top of one another, well here is a flash game dedicated to the cause of unusual but fun, game review, balancing objects.
You start at the, game review, main menu; here you can see a very short game description, controls and music adjustments. Also, to the bottom you can see two levels of difficulty, harmony with 40 levels, game review, and inferno another 40 tantalizing levels.
So, it sounds simple. Well, in theory, game review, the concept is, however, the game is as far from straight forward as you can imagine.
The idea of the game is to balance your objects on top of a setup which is pre determined. The game may start out relatively, game review, painless, but a few levels on when it seems your only options are to balance a ball on top of a triangle, then you will soon realise why this game is one of the most, game review, frustrating you will ever play, game review, .
While, game review, going through the levels you are scored on how quickly you complete them, there is a 1000 point, game review, bonus per level and as soon as you pick up your first object the timer starts, on completion of, game review, the levels you have the option to submit your score.
To help get you get started; let's look at how the first two stages, game review, of the harmony setting play out:
Stage one
Drag and drop the blue piece over the middle of the gray line. Then take either of the other bits and place them on top of the blue piece, so that the orange piece has its leg hanging off, then do the same for the next piece, on top of the other orange bit.
Stage two
Balance the straight line between the gaps of the gray item; next take one of the squares and balance it as far to the right of the straight line as possible, now balance the second square on top of the first square.
Drop the first ball to the left of the square and the second ball on top of the first, if you need to balance it up against the squares for extra support.
In the harmony mode the developers have decided to play mind games with the players. They know it is a very hard game and a formidable challenge but wont tire of telling you to relax, or take a deep breath.
Contrary to the above, game review, is the inferno mode, no relaxing music, disturbing backgrounds and blood stained objects... even though it was annoying I think I preferred harmony mode!
