Fight Night Round 4 Review

When I first ordered Fight Night Round 4 from my online rental account I was pretty excited to give it a try. First let me tell you that I love fighting games, UFC Unleashed was probably my favorite fighting game so far this year. However, after reading Fight Night's reviews I figured it had a good chance of pulling off the upset of my favorite fighting game. The game finally arrived at my house and I immediately put it into my xbox. My first reactions was that this game had some amazing graphics and the story telling of my young fighter began quickly with an introduction sequence on how to use the controls.

The amount of variations in punches, ducks, and blocks are, game review, huge. There is a different control for almost everything within the game., game review, At first this, game review, can seem like a scary situation for someone like me who has never played any of the Fight Night games.

After trying to feel my way around the controls I created a boxer in legacy mode. The game starts out with an amateur tournament and even with my lack of skills I was able to win all of my fights by knockout.

At, game review, that point I felt pretty good about the game, and that I would be able to get the hand of the game easily and enjoy my legacy career. In the legacy mode you are able to train your fighter typically once before every major fight. I found that the little training games they put you through to be very hard and that I was not actually help train my character. However, Fight Night has, game review, created an auto train setting for people like me who do not want to learn the proper training.

I continued on my legacy path and was able to beat, game review, most opponents until I reached ranking 20. At that point the game, game review, became difficult for someone like, game review, me who does not want to learn the specifics of ducking and weaving. I just want to get in there and throw hay makers and try to KO my opponent. However, the game is created such that you can not win after a certain point with punching alone. This part of the game frustrates me and really creates the bad review,, game review, game review, in my mind.

Like I said I don't want to dedicate to, game review, much time learning about ducking and weaving,, game review, I just want to punch someone. Therefore in my mind the game fell short of, game review, my expectations. However, if you are into that sort of thing this game is realistic and amazing. The graphics are superb and the game play is so realistic it makes amateurs like me not want to play it. So go pick up a copy and give it a try.
