Monster Hunter Freedom 2 Sony PlayStationPortable Guide

By Samual Ennis

A new title comes out for the Sony PlayStation Portable ? Monster Hunter Freedom. If you are the adventure- and action-seeking kind of gamer, then Monster Hunter is your best choice for a game to enjoy. Because it is an RPG, you can expect that this is going to be a really exciting experience for the gamer, particularly with the amount of morbidity and thrill to go along with it. Youre a wannabe monster hunter. Your character will be placed in a world inhabited by medieval peasants. Here, your main objective is to take down all of the home town's fauna with tremendous fierceness.

After starting up Monster Hunter Freedom, you will have the option to customize your own character in this game through the various avatars that you can select from. After that, you go into the specifics of your character's different features like hair, face, skin color, among others.

At the beginning of the story, and living up to the role playing genre, you wake up in your bed. While doing this, you should be able to find shops there and you can check them out as well. And while you're doing this, you can look over some shops where you can uncover missions to join in and complete.

After visiting the various shops in town, you can now move on to the guild where you can find the best action there is. There you will meet village elders who will take you through tutorial missions ? you may also get tutorial missions from the elders. But wait, this isn't really just a mere tutorial mission ? they are in fact real missions!

For your first few missions, you will find that they can be surprisingly very easy. In fact, they can be a bit boring for any gamer looking for some hardcore action. But the key here is patience, to ensure that you go through these missions while learning the skills necessary to surviving your future missions.

Your first chance at facing up to a real challenge comes in the form of an outraged enemy! Also, there's some creepy looking monster that's lurking around and might just be waiting for a chance to get at you!

It's hard to maintain your monster enemies within range of your eyesight mainly because of the angle of the camera. It can also be annoying trying to take on all these evil monsters with the controls. To help you get over a potentially tricky situation, you might want to use some speed over your opponents.

And aside from your tremendous speed, you also have four weapons at your disposal: a crossbow, a sword, a hammer, and a lance. Eventually, as you move up higher through your missions, you'll be able to use better weapons and your combat skills will also have been improved greatly.

Without needing to mention the game controls and camera for this game, Monster Hunter Freedom on the PSP promises to be one hell of a great game for those looking for combat unlike they've seen before!
